Chapter Challenges

Each local chapter of the EWMC is encouraged to align with the national vision by actively embracing these nine core challenges:

1. Community Outreach – Develop programs 

    to give back to the local community.

2. Political Action – Stay informed, get involved, and support labor-friendly candidates. 

3. Mentoring – Build relationships that foster personal and professional growth. 

4. Leadership Development – Empower members to lead in the union and beyond.

5. Organizing – Support efforts to grow and strengthen the labor movement. 

6. Training and Education – Promote continued learning and skills development. 

7. Youth Engagement – Involve and inspire the next generation of union leaders.

8. Solidarity with Other Caucuses and Unions – Collaborate with other worker-led groups.

9. Support EWMC National Objectives – Ensure chapter work reflects the goals of the national EWMC.
